The Center for Intergenerational Learning is pleased to announce a new national report that analyzes the motivations of immigrant elders engaged in civic roles and highlights the promising practices of agencies who successfully engage them.

It's not too late to register for two new online courses brought to you by Temple University and the Corporation for National and Community Service.

“The opportunities to work with faculty on research projects are endless. We can help them connect with a variety of community groups and/or involve them in project evaluations. We can also serve as a laboratory for students, providing them with practical experiences that help them better understand the needs of older adults and their families.”

Starting in October, Coming of Age will be presenting in over a dozen communities across the country its "Capturing the Energy and Expertise of People 50+" Learning Labs-- a three-day workshop series that helps nonprofits learn how to craft compelling opportunities for older adults.
